Sell travel insurance to your clients
Your clients buy trip cancellation and travel medical coverage anyway — from an airline checkout box, a comparison site, or nobody at all. Get appointed and the commission stays with you, on coverage you were already recommending.

What you can offer
Trip cancellation
Reimburses prepaid, non-refundable costs when a covered reason cancels the trip — illness, a death in the family, jury duty, a named storm.
Trip interruption
Picks up where cancellation leaves off: the trip started, something went wrong, and getting home or rejoining the itinerary costs money.
Travel medical
Medical treatment abroad, where a domestic health plan often pays little or nothing. The one clients understand least and need most.
Emergency evacuation
Transport to adequate care, and repatriation. The line item that turns a bad situation into a survivable one on a remote itinerary.
Baggage and delay
Lost, stolen, or delayed bags, and the expenses that pile up during a long delay.
Cancel for any reason
An upgrade that returns a portion of the trip cost for reasons no standard plan lists. Usually must be bought soon after the initial deposit.
Why agents add it
Recommending travel insurance is already part of the job. Documenting that you offered it is part of managing your own errors and omissions exposure — one of the more common allegations against a travel agent is that coverage was never presented, and a client learned what a pre-existing condition waiver was only after a claim was denied.
Being appointed changes that conversation from a referral into a product you can quote in front of the client, at the moment they are deciding, with the deadlines that matter — such as buying within the window that preserves a pre-existing condition waiver — explained by you rather than discovered later.

- 4Offer it on every bookingQuote coverage alongside the itinerary, so the conversation happens before the deposit rather than after a problem.
