Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
InsuranceForTravelAgents.com ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you request a quote, sign up for the travel insurance program, or contact us, we collect what you submit — which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name and address, business details, headcount, coverage needs, and anything else you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, the referring URL, and similar analytics data through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers or full payment card numbers through our standard forms. Please do not submit that information unless it is specifically requested through a secure process.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the insurance quotes, comparisons, or information you request;
- To connect you with insurance carriers, licensed agents, or partners who can serve your request;
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message, and email (see section 4);
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How we share your information
To provide quotes, we share the information you submit with insurance carriers, licensed agents, and partners ("Partners") who can fulfill or follow up on your request. Partners may contact you directly and may use your information under their own privacy policies.
We may also share information:
- With service providers such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf;
- As required by law or subpoena, or to protect rights and safety;
- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell your information for unrelated third-party advertising beyond the insurance-quote purpose described here. See Do Not Sell or Share My Information for your options.
4. Consent to be contacted (calls and text messages)
By submitting a form with your phone number and checking the consent box, you give your prior express written consent for us, our partners, and the insurance carriers or agents we connect you with to contact you at the number provided — including by automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice, and text message — for marketing and servicing of your quote request.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request information without agreeing to automated calls or texts by using the contact form.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- To stop calls, ask to be placed on our internal Do-Not-Call list through the contact form.
- We retain a record of your consent, including the text shown and the date and time.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. This Site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the Site is used; see Google's privacy policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Affiliate links
Some links on this Site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. Where those links appear, we disclose it next to the link. Clicking one takes you to a third party whose own privacy policy governs what they collect.
7. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfill your request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, and then delete or de-identify it.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information, and to opt out of certain sharing.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to, deletion of, and correction of your personal information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Other states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah provide similar rights.
- To exercise any right, use the contact form and tell us what you are requesting.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites, including carrier and partner sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information to them.
